The exhibition begins in the naval yards of Harland & Wolff, in Belfast, Ireland, where construction of the R.M.S. Titanic began in 1909. Nicknamed, "Unsinkable," it represented a major technological challenge for surpassing the competition and became the symbol of luxury on the high seas. In 1912, the Titanic was the largest transatlantic ocean liner in the world.
